This policy explains what data we collect through this website, why we collect it, and what rights you have over it. We keep it in plain English because a privacy policy you can't understand protects nobody.
Metrimont is a marketing and media production company based in the United Kingdom. [Registered company name, company number and registered address to be confirmed following the current Companies House registration update.] For anything relating to your data, contact us at privacy@metrimont.com.
Consultation enquiries. When you submit the consultation form we collect your name, email address, company, industry, and, if you choose to provide them, your phone number, position, and how you heard about us. We use this to respond to your enquiry, assess fit, and arrange a consultation. The lawful basis is legitimate interest in responding to a business enquiry you initiated.
Website analytics. We measure how this website is used: pages visited, approximate location at city level, device type, and how visitors arrive at the site. We run our own analytics on infrastructure we control. Your browsing data is not shared with advertising networks, and we do not use third-party advertising trackers on this site.
Enquiry data and analytics are stored on secure servers managed by us within the UK and EU. Access is restricted to the Metrimont team. We do not sell your data, and we do not share it with third parties except the infrastructure providers that host our systems, who process it only on our instructions.
If you submit an enquiry, we will email you about that enquiry. We will not add you to any marketing list without your consent, and any marketing email we ever send will include a working unsubscribe link.
Enquiry data is kept while your enquiry is active and for a reasonable period afterwards so we can pick the conversation back up. If you ask us to delete it, we will. Analytics data is kept in aggregate for reporting.
Under UK data protection law you can ask us for a copy of the data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, and object to how we use it. Email privacy@metrimont.com and we will respond promptly. If you are unhappy with how we handle your data you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
If this policy changes, the current version will always be at this address, with the date it was last updated. Last updated: [launch date].
